🛒 Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 white onion
- 2 spring onions
- 100 g pitted green olives
- 3 eggs
- 12 empanada discs
- Spices: salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika powder, and a pinch of oregano
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- Oil or beef fat (for frying)
👨🍳 Preparation
- Finely chop the white onion and spring onions.
- Heat the frying pan with a little oil and sauté the onions. Meanwhile, boil the eggs.
- Add the ground meat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until done.
- Add chili, cumin, smoked paprika powder, and oregano.
- Stir in the tomato paste.
- Chop the cooked eggs and add them to the mixture along with the olives.
- Remove from heat and add the green part of the spring onions. Let cool.
- Fill the dough discs with the mixture.
- Reheat oil or fat and fry the empanadas until golden brown.
