    First use

    Before first use, we recommend lightly cleaning the pan with warm water and drying it thoroughly.

    Then:

    1. Heat the pan over medium heat for a few minutes.
    2. Apply a thin layer of oil (e.g., sunflower or olive oil).
    3. Spread the oil over the surface with kitchen paper.
    4. This is how the pan begins to develop its natural seasoning layer.

    During cooking

    For best results:

    • Always preheat the pan thoroughly before adding ingredients.
    • Use a small amount of oil or fat for optimal cooking results.
    • Thanks to cast iron's excellent heat distribution, you can often cook at lower temperatures than with other pans.
    • This method of cooking results in better flavour and perfect searing.
  • Cleaning

    After use, maintenance is simple.

    1. Let the pan cool down slightly.
    2. Clean with warm water and a soft brush or cloth.
    3. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents or the dishwasher.
    4. Dry the pan thoroughly immediately.
    5. For extra protection, you can apply a very thin layer of oil after cleaning.
